With drag car engines requiring large diameter header tubes to allow their massive engines to breath, sometimes going under the car is not an option. Here is a set we did for a ’79 Malibu running a 632 tall deck Big Block Chevy. This setup is around 1000HP on motor with a nitrous system capable of a 1000 shot. These headers have 2.5” primary tubes going to true merge collectors with a 5” outlets. We also added in a short race muffler for those tracks that require mufflers.
