This sandrail is a perfect example of the awesome customers and vehicles we get to build parts for. The engine in this sandrail is a stroked LS1 with twin Garrett 64mm turbos making 920HP at the wheels. When Scott Leppard gave us a call he was having major issues with his current headers cracking, which didn’t surprise us since he mentioned hitting 160 ft. jumps and 70+ MPH. With the abuse we knew this rail was going to see, we built the header from an American made stainless with double slip merge collectors to make this turbo header last. Scott mentioned that they ran the new headers on the dyno and saw an increase of 45HP and 60 ft. lbs. of torque. We believe these numbers solely came from a solid header that was sending all the pressure to the turbo and not out a crack in the header.
